Reasonable Fees
We intend our fees to be very reasonable and competitive. We also intend that our fees reflect the extent to which other professionals involved with a client provide services that reduce the amount of work we need to do.

Fees for Tax and Estate Planning and Non Standard Transactions
Our Fees for tax and estate planning and non standard transactions are based on hourly rates, at least initially.

Reduced Fees for Implementation Alone
If another professional does the required tax and estate planning and provides a detailed memo to us describing the transactions to be implemented, our fees for the implementation would generally be approximately half of what our fees would be for the combination of planning and implementation.

We are generally able to provide a flat fee quote for the implementation of certain "standard" transactions.

Fees for Planning and Implementation
After the initial planning stage, the fees for planning a "standard" transaction can often be included in a flat fee quote that includes both planning and implementation.

Disbursements, Other Charges, and GST
In addition to our Fees, we will bill for all Disbursements which we expend on a client's behalf. Disbursements are payments we make to third parties to carry the matter forward, such as telephone, courier, travel, search and registry charges. In addition, certain services are not included in our Fees and will be billed as Other Charges, such as Photocopying and Trust Account deposits to Term Certificates. Our accounts will also include a charge for applicable GST on Fees, Disbursements and Other Charges.

A List of Typical Fees is available upon request. It sets out our current hourly rate(s) and the typical fees we charge for implementation of some common standard transactions.
